~ Artistic Details ~
Each and every Cobblestone Creation
is a completely original design from my imagination.
No patterns are used but my own.
They are fashioned lovingly by my hand with great attention
to detail resulting in a one of a kind heirloom quality piece.
This wee one is soooooo richly detailed.
Much research has gone into what makes a leprechaun ~ and
I do believe I have captured all the enchantment of those
delightful creatures in this piece ~ at least that is what
I have been told by the one who lives in my garden.
This leprechaun mouse is made of creamy white long pile cashmere
mini bear fabric with a tail of thin black leather cording.
He measures just a touch under 3 inches to the top of his hat.
His pointy leprechaun ears have been lightly tinted a lucky Spring green.
He has the highest quality German black glass eyes that are
highlighted with perle cotton and horsehair eyelashes.
Meticulous scissor sculpting has brought out
the sweetness of that little face.
His precious little nose is an onyx bead
surrounded by horsehair whiskers.
He is firmly stuffed with polyester and is disk and cotter
pin jointed at neck, ankles and shoulders with wired arms
to help him hold many adorable poses.
His outfit consists of earthy knickers, a white shirt, green patterned
stockings and vest, moss green jacket and a loosely flopping bow tie.
You will notice the jacket has three bright golden button
with corresponding embroidered buttonholes on the opposite side.
Ah yes ~ perfectly dressed to blend into the countryside
should he need to hide from any gold seekers.
Along with a teeny beige button, the vest has a golden
watch chain stretching across his little belly.
And of course the jacket has long tails in the back
for every leprechaun has a bit of elegance in him, you know.
The exaggerated cuffs on the jacket are sparkling with glittery
green shamrocks on a black background.
They are further adorned with gold toned cuff links
featuring pearly beads in the centers.
Leprechauns enjoy a good smoke ~ well, it helps to
pass the time when they’re out on rainbow watch.
His ornately swirled pipe is firmly glued in his mouth.
He is wearing his black top hat which has a
sparkling hatband to match his cuffs and bow tie.
Even his shoes scream leprechaun with the black
suede straps and golden shoe buckles.
And every leprechaun has to have a pot of gold!
His measures ½ inch high.
It is made of wood with a brass wire handle
and has a tiny shamrock on the front.
And the treasure for our dear mousie leprechaun?
Well ~ what could be more precious than golden cheese!
I bet you have the perfect spot for him in your home.
Each of my creations will arrive with their
signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity and hangtag.
They also come with individually labeled Gift Boxes
