Fashion Bears from
Cobblestone Creations
Each and every Cobblestone Creation
is a completely original design from my imagination.
No patterns are used but my own.
They are fashioned lovingly by my hand with
great attention to detail resulting in a
one of a kind heirloom quality piece.

This darling bear is made of apricot mohair on a dark background fabric.
She has green cashmere foot pawpads, and neeedlefelted hand pawpads in brown.
She measures over 16 inches to the top of her hat.
She is five way disk and cotter pin jointed with wired arms
allowing her to hold many striking poses.
Although she is firmly stuffed with
polyester and pillows of stainless
steel shot to make her self-standing,
a new doll stand is also included. |

She looks out onto the world through
the highest quality German black glass eyes that are
highlighted with white ultrasuede and perle cotton eyelids.
Her nose is felted with an embroidered mouth.
Much time was spent scissor, needle sculpting
and finally needle felting that sweet face.

|
With over twenty years of sewing experience be assured that everything from Cobblestone Creations is made from top grade materials
with construction details used on fine clothing.
Seams are frenched where possible or overcast to ensure no raw edges and most trims are meticulously applied by hand.
|
Dolores' outfit starts with a sheer glistening black underskirt.
She is also wearing a dotted swiss lime green overskirt
that
is trimmed with purple feathery braid.
Her purple celestial print jacket has black frills, five bead
buttons and two little jack-o-lantern bells at the tips.
Her felt hat has green pom and more purple feathery
trims and five tiny black bat buttons.

I find that fasteners like snaps or velcro are just too bulky
for my little friends and detract from their charm.
I am therefore sorry to say that their clothing is not removable. |
|
She will come with her batty friend, who was a purchased item.
She will also bring her book of Spells and Potions.
This is a 16 page hard cover book the I made for her and
includes some of her best recipes and spells.
