Chester’s
story
Each and every Cobblestone Circle Citizen
(including their accessories)
is a completely original design from my imagination.
No patterns are used but my own.
They are fashioned lovingly by my hand with great attention to detail
resulting in a one of a kind heirloom quality piece.
Cobblestone Circle Citizens stand a mere 2 to 3½ inches tall.
They are firmly stuffed with polyester and are disk and cotter pin jointed at
neck, ankles and shoulders with wired arms to help them hold many adorable poses.
Their clothes are sewn from a variety
of the highest quality fabrics and trims.
They are made with construction details used on fine
clothing ~ even though at times this small scale
requires me to use tweezers to do the sewing!
They look out at the world through premium German black glass eyes
highlighted with ultrasuede eye whites lined with perle cotton embroidery
and expressive horse hair eyelashes.
Their precious little noses are onyx beads
~ accented with horse hair whiskers.
His inner ears and cheeks have been lightly tinted
and his nose is a bit pink from the cold.
Chester is made from cream sassy long pile mini bear fabric.
His tail is tan leather cording and
he measures barely 3 inches to the top of his head.
He is wearing brown leathery pants and a matching knitted woolen
sweater and cap that sport white snowflake buttons.
I find that fasteners like snaps or velcro are just too bulky
for my little friends and detract from their charm.
I am therefore sorry to say that their clothing is not removable.
His wooden skis and poles were made by me,
stained a rich walnut brown.
The skis have brown ultrasuede loops that slip over his shoes.
There are thread loops on his hands to help him hold the poles.

Each of my creations will arrive with their
signed and dated Calling Card
featuring their portrait and story,
certifying that they are an original citizen of
Cobblestone Circle.
They also come with individually labeled Gift Boxes!
