What is it about young girls and sand? Tallulah Lemondrop has resigned herself to two more months of cleaning up the sand that her daughters seem to deposit in every nook and cranny of her home. She oughtn’t complain as Molly and Wendy really do not ask for much ~ but they can be quite relentless when it comes to spending their summer days at the beach.

Tallulah had no such excursions when she was a young girl. She was content to spend most of her summer vacations from school on the front porch swing with her nose buried in a paperback mystery. She laughs to herself thinking that even now she’d prefer that, so is it any surprise that she still does not own even one swim suit?

Dressed in one of her many sundresses, she spreads their blanket under the large umbrella, and notices as she is taking today’s mystery paperback from her beach bag that Molly and Wendy are playing with Katie and Ginger Iversham. Their mother waves to Tallulah signaling she will keep an eye on the girls.

As she is about to burrow into the sand trying to make a comfortable spot on the blanket, Tallulah decides a walk along the shore might be a nice change and allow her to get a look at that new construction everyone has been talking about.

She approaches the building, contemplating exactly what it is going to be when she spots a peculiar item pegged to a post at the corner of the property. It is an engraved invitation that reads:

~ Dear Friends of Cobblestone Circle ~

You are invited to the unveiling of this structure
to be held at noon sharp on this spot in six weeks' time.

Until then, please keep in mind that

Tallulah is made from blonde sassy smokey long pile mini bear fabric.
Her tail is black leather cording and she measures just over 3 inches to the top of her head.
She is wearing her sundress that has matching undies,
her aqua and white floral sun hat and flip-flops on her feet.
Her hat is decorated with a white flower and yellow seed beads.
Her sunglasses are removable.
She will bring her umbrella, beach bag, book and blanket with her.
