Mother is not going to like this one little bit. Somehow the big plant by the front window fell off its stand and now it’s all over the carpet! Molly doesn’t even know how it happened. She had her blankie over her head, walking around practicing being a ghost for Halloween and all of a sudden ~ UH-OH ~ there was a big crash right beside her! What if there are real ghosts in the house and one of them knocked over the plant! Or worse yet, what if Mother thinks she did it! That will mean a time out for Molly for sure! OH no! What should she do? Where can she go?
Grandma’s!!!
That’s it ~ she will drag the big suitcase out of the closet, pack all the things she needs and run away to Grandma’s. Not to worry ~ all will be well. Molly’s Mother is smiling as she stands in the doorway to Molly’s room watching as she packs all her essentials.
