Maxwell Twiggleby
No. 19 in the Cobblestone Circle Series

Daydreaming ~ that is how Maxwell spends most of his time ~ daydreaming.   Even as a boy he would spend hours thinking about far off places and people.   And ever since he took the job as mailman in Cobblestone Circle he finds himself wanting to go to those far off places more and more.   So many letters!   Where do they come from?   Where are they going?

Each night he lays in his bed waiting for the sound of the whistle from the 11:30 train to Bramberry.   One day he will be on that train and start his great adventure of seeing deep forests and big cities, of riding riverboats and double-decker busses, of tasting exotic foods and hearing new languages.   Oh, someday . . . . he is sure of it!

And he is just as sure that he will return to Cobblestone Circle and all the people who are so dear to him.

Max is made of a deep dark cocoa brown cashmere ~ making it quite difficult to get a good picture of his fur color.   His tail is brown leather cording.   He measures just over 3¾ inches to the top of his hat.   Max is dressed in his mailman uniform of navy and black trousers and jacket, white shirt, red tie, and of course his hat.   Gold toned accent beads adorn his jacket and hat.   None of his clothes are removeable.   Max comes with his 1¾ inch mailbag with contains the letters he has to deliver today.   He often slings his bag over his shoulder.   There are two sizes of letters in the bag.   Six personal sized envelopes that measure just over ½ by 1 inch and three business sized envelopes measuring 1 by 1¼ inches.   Each is printed with the addresee and even postage!

The envelopes are sealed tight ~ after all ~ they aren’t addressed to us!
