She chose her warmest black coat with the hood from the closet since she decided to treat herself to a leisurely stroll through town after lunch. It will be such fun to see what new books the Wallace’s have at The Book Cellar ~ and she very much wants to see that new exhibit that opened this week at the Art Gallery. There will almost certainly be a few friends gathered at Needle Works catching up on the new projects each of them are tackling. Perhaps she will even duck in Precious Petals and splurge on a lovely bunch of flowers just to remind herself that Spring isn’t too far away.
The last stop on her way home will be Memories and Dreams Antique Store to pick up Mr. Van Horne’s birthday gift. She found a stunning pair of old binoculars there last week and Mr. Willoughby was having them polished for her. They will be the perfect gift for her husband since he’s been joining George Taggert so frequently on his walks up Cobble Hill lately. She doesn’t know what they are looking for up there, but whatever it is ~ these should help.
