I am NOT a baby!
Alas, Brianna Larkins is indeed the baby of the family. She is the 4 year old daughter of Kathleen & Paul Larkins. And today her siblings Gerry, Holly and Ned are calling her a baby because of the story she is telling of an imaginary friend. They are all on their way to Sunday dinner at the home of their grandparents Maureen and George Taggert. Brianna is very anxious to get there ~ especially today
because Grandpa George will surely believe her when she tells him about her new friend, Ruffles. Bree had tagged along with her father when he went fishing with Mr. Stevens yesterday, and was playing in the pine forest just beyond the fishing hole
~ and that was where she met Ruffles. They had such a good time playing hide and seek. Ruffles was really good at hiding for being such a large cow. She said it was something her mother had taught her. What a special cow Ruffles is! She is the first one Bree has seen that has wings ~ and of course the first one that could talk. Wait until Grandpa George hears about this!

Brianna is made of a luscious cashmere named Vanilla Custard. Her pink inner ears are also cashmere. She measures only 2¾ inches to the top of her head. She is wearing her best yellow sundress and new shoes. Premium Czech seed beads of pearly beige have been hand sewn along the bottom of her dress and onto her shoes. A tiny yellow bow from perle cotton adorns the front of her dress, and there is a teeny yellow button on the back, though neither her dress or her shoes are removeable. Tucked in front of her right ear is one of the butttercups she picked with Ruffles. The buttercup is actually a crocheted blossom surrounding a pearly bead.
Brianna is taking her favorite clown doll with her today. No matter what her brother Gerry says about her, she does know the difference between what is real and alive and what is not. Even though she sometimes talks to her doll, she knows it is just a toy ~ but Ruffles was real! Her 1½ inch doll is made of gold-toned beads, a soft sculptured head, ribbon hat and bright orange perle cotton curly hair and pom-pom. The eyes on the doll are 1mm black onyx beads.
